Nokia Asha 303 image quality
Assalamualaikum and good day you guys, oh and for christians, wish you all merry xmas and happy new year. anyway i wanna make a review of the latest Nokia device which is using s40 OS, but with a whooping 1 giga hertz processor! i just bought that device for 2 weeks now, and its suuuper fast better than any old s40 device. and i snap some photos to show you how this phone perform, and if you guys did not know this device, i show you this is Nokia Asha 303!(oh and it is capacitive touch screen, the 1st s40 capacitive touch screen):
Nokia Asha 303 camera specs: 3.2 megapixel fixed focus, face detection, and some effects and self timer, no led flash though
Anyway here is the image quality, start with the outdoor image quality
Outdoor Image quality
Ok for image quality, this phone on out doors is pretty good, the coloring is great, and noise is under control, BUT, the image tends to became white all sudden because of the sunlight and the white sky makes the image turn white fringing. If you look closely at image 2, the tree part, the coloring tends to wash out and became like the green color has been painted. so the color of the tree is not original, buit the other image like 1 and 4 the image of the tree is slightly better than image 2. But give a credit that the image of sea water is great, it was real and the color doesn't change. but the image turns a bit whitish probably because of a sun light.
Shading Outdoor area:
The image is pretty nice for a cheap device, better than fully outdoor image, the noise is low, the colour balance is good and dynamic range is par. but if you look closely, there is a slight over coloured green on the tree, its like the colour of the tree is been painted. and the image turns slightly white fringing when is a bit under a sun, between the whole 5 picture, for me the most excellent image quality is image 2 and 4,with an excellent color balance and less white fringing on whole image.
Macro mode( just want to try it since Nokia Asha 303 does not have auto focus)
Well, well well, the object in this 5 picture are blurred out since there is no auto focus, for example, image 5 the hibiscus flower tends to blurred out but a positive side is the colour and the background of the object is kept under control, low noise and excellent colour balance. Image four and three the object who closest to camera tends to blurred but the other leaf is sharp and clear. image 2 and 1 the closest to the camera is fully blur but the color is really good and acceptable and the image of the coconut is quite good but there is some blur side on the object espeacially near the camera, over all, the macro is quite improvement than the last fixed focus nokia phone.
Indoor image quality:
Well all of the image has alot of noise even in the mid bright enviorment. the image turns yellowish because of the yellow light in the image itself, but the positive side is the image still have some good color rendering and the object of the image is still real and good. i think if Nokia put this device an Led flash like Nokia X2, i think it will be awesome!
Outdoor at night:
Well, if you guest it, it has a lot of noise, and its worse when on outdoor, the image tends to turn dark since there is no led flash and no night mode on the camera(pretty sucks eh?) but on the image 4, the image is the best between the other images since there is a lower noise and good colour balance where as the other image tends to turn the image blur and a lot of noises, even i took it on the spot light.
In conclusion, the phone produce a pretty good image quality( only at the daylight though), even though is only 3.2. megapioxel fixed focus but it has achieved a good image quality, pretty cool for a mid range device, so are you interested by it?? in Malaysia is cost Rm 500 in original Nokia store, i bought it RM 520( at non Nokia store, dammit!) approx. around 150 dollar or 100 euro. anyway thanks for reading and keep in touch on this blog, i will make a review on ther phones, see you guys next time assalamualaikum and good bye.

Nokia N8 and Nokia E7 Battery life capabilities
Hello and assalamualikum guys, it's been long time i did not do any phone reviews since i've been busy with my studies(repeating my semester though.you can laugh if you want to). Any way, this is a battle with two handsets Nokia N8 and E7, the battle is, how was the battery life when using music, calling, or gaming and some web browsing and media playing and some fiddling here and there. here is
Nokia N8
Nokia E7
ok now, before we start the battle, let me tell you battery life in phones are varies result, some people got 3 days, 5 days or worst 12 hours, it depends how much you use it, this battle are being tested and my experience using it,i dunno about you guys. (i still use this 2 phones)Both Phones has a 50% brightness settings, music volume is 70%, call ringtone maximum volume and calling is maximum volume as well, no application running(except menu).
Ok now, here is the battle, lets start with Nokia N8,
In full signal Place:
Calling for 5 hours(apperoximately)(i'm using digi easy so call and messaging is free but maximum limit is 45 minutes per call)
Listen to music for 4 hours using headphone(usually, i listen music when i take a nap and some time if i boring)
record video for 30 minutes(approx.)(i'm skater, so i want to make skate footage using this phone, its a good vid. quality though)
Messaging some 200 messages( well, i like messaging more than calling)
fiddling here and there( well i don't use web browsing in phone that much so i can't tell you how many hours or minutes i web browsing)
result: 2 days
Comment: pretty good for a multimedia phone, but not really impressive
As in low signal coverage using the same method it only can stand 1 and a half day since when signal is low the phone is trying to find a signal which it cost battery to drain faster.
Nokia E7:
Result: 1 and a half day:
Comment: well what can i say, the display is bigger than N8, but the battery capicity is same like n8 Bl-4D 1200 mah battery. so the battery life is lesser than n8, but E& is a business phone, maybe Nokia could upgrade it to 1500 mah like other e series i think will be impressive battery life.
In low signal coverage is not so good, i can only stand 1 day, which is not good. so if you live in low signal you have to charge every day.
ok, that was a full result if you heavy use it. i also mange to medium use it. lket us look at Nokia N8 when medium use it.
2.5-3 hours of calling( still using digi easy)
listen to music for 2 hours using loud speaker and headphone( using the same headphone and same volume loudness)
i don't record video at all, just snap some pictures (maybe around 20 pics)
messaging is still around 200
fiddling here and there.
Result: 3 days
Comment: well, pretty good, thats all i can say.
But that's when i got in the full signal coverage, but in low signal coverage it can stand 2 days.
Nokia E7
In full line network coverage:
2.5-3 hours of calling( still using digi easy)
listen to music for 2 hours using loud speaker and headphone( using the same headphone and same volume loudness)
i don't record video at all, just snap some pictures (maybe around 20 pics)
messaging is still around 200
fiddling here and there.
Result: 2 days
Comment: a bit improvement, but not impressive
In low signal coverage it can only stand 1/4 days. but at least it has a bit improvement.
Light usage when using Nokia n8 in full signal coverage:
2 hours of calling (using digi easy)
Listen music for 30 minutes- 1 hour using loudspeaker and earphone.
i dont' take pictures and videos
messaging around 100 messages.
not so fiddling this handsets.
Result: 3 and a half days
Comment: slight improvement for light usage, but i think not many people will light use this handset since it's a MULTIMEDIA phone.
As for low signal coverage it can stand for 2 3/4 days.
Nokia E7 in full signal coverage:
2 hours of calling (using digi easy)
Listen music for 30 minutes- 1 hour using loudspeaker and earphone.
i dont' take pictures and videos
messaging around 100 messages.
not so fiddling this handsets.
Result: 3 days
Comment: its good and impressive but i doubt a businessman using this phone in light usage.
In low signal coverage it can stand 2 and a half days.
Individual usage:
Music Capabilities on Nokia N8( remember i got this result when i'm using earphone or external speaker, the volume of the headphone is 70% and external speaker is 50%.oh and i'm using my useless sim card just to make this review. the music started just after i fully charge it and untill the battery is dead, i'm using nokia c2-01 as for stop watch)
Nokia n8 can stand 27 hours 25 minutes when in earphone in no offline mode.
Nokia n8 can stand 45 hours 12 minutes when in earphone in offline mode.
i plug in the external sepaker and here's the result
Nokia n8 can stand 22 hours 21 minutes in no offline mode.
Nokia n8 can stand 35 hours 20 minutes in offline mode.
comment: pretty good for a music capabilities,oh i'm using nokia cheap earphone wh 102 for test. i dunno if i insert an expensive earphones though
Nokia E7 in earphone:
Nokia E7 can stand 30 hours when in earphone in no offline mode.
Nokia E7 can stand 47 hours 30 minutes in earphone in offline mode.
plug in the external speaker and the result:
Nokia E7 can stand for 25 hours 2 minutes in no offline mode.
Nokia E7 can stand 32 hours in no offline mode.
comment: wow! although the screen is larger than n8 but the music capabilites is greatre than N8, remember this is my experince, i don't know how you guys result, maybe different than mine. Form what i saw, in terms of calling and messaging, Nokia N8 is bettery life less consumed than E7 but when in Multimedia, E7 is better handling battery consumption than N8. this is my experience. i dunno about you guys.
Using loud speaker for music capabilities, i use the volume 70% and here is the result:
Nokia N8 can stand for 12 hours 40 minutes in no offline mode.
Nokia N8 can stand 15 hours 10 minutes in offline mode.
Nokia E7 can stand 15 hours 35 minutes in no offline mode.
Nokia E7 can stand 19 hours 2 minutes in offline mode.
Comment: maybe E7 loud speaker for music is not as loud as N8. maybe
Web Browsing.
Ok, i'm not using web browsing much in phones but i have to do it, since many people like to surf web using phones and here is the result ( i'm using wifi at my house)
Nokia N8 can manage 4.5 hours in web browsing.(including watching some videos in youtube)
Nokia E7 can mange 4 hours in web browsing. ( including watching videos in youtube)
Comment: well, phones cannot replace laptop or desktop. although its poor result since some other phones have better and longer battery life when siurfing the web. i doubt many people to web surfing using phones for long time. i'm getting dizzy when surfing web using phone if too long i surf the web.
Watching movies:
ok this is a final test. i have downloaded some movies in both of these phones, i have download 10 movie inside both of these phone and the duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes(well all kinds of genere of movies i put inside both of these device) and i'm using headphone to watch the movies(because usually people do that or even attached it to external speaker to make it even louder sound.) and here is the result:
Nokia n8 can stand 5 and a half hour around 4 movies.
Nokia E7 can stand 4 hours 20 minutes around 3 movies.
comment: well N8 has a smaller screen so it has a n advantage to make battery less consumed. but E7 scores pretty good also thanks to Clear Black Display which Nokia claimed it will caonsume less battery life.
Conclusion, well that is all my result. this is only my experience, and the result is varies. it depends on how you manage the handset. anyway that is all, have a good day and assalamualaikum
Nokia N8
Nokia E7

Battle! music Quality! Nokia N8 Vs. Nokia E7 Vs. Nokia C7 vs. W610i Vs. Nokia X1 round 3
Hello guys and welcome to round three! this round is using an earphone, for you who like to roamin around with a music at your hand, any way this part it will come at two different earphone, 1st Nokia Stereo earphone WH-205, and second is Sony Ericsson HPM-70 earphone. anyway this round dosen't have a vid since i listen it through headphone, anyway, here is a picture of Nokia Stereo headphone WH-205:
Nokia WH-205
and Sony Ericsson HPM-70
Sony Ericsson HPM-70
Ok, i use this two phone to hear how the sound quality between 5 phones, any way this is my opinion when i insert Nokia Wh-205 in my Nokia N8:
My opinionin Nokia N8:
The sound quality is totally good!, the bass is very high even though i set it to normal equaliser, treble is quite low, but heareble, vocal is great, you can hear the vocal and a background noise clearly, stereo effect is a top notch and the sound volume is loud and awesome clarity!, Nokia N8 has a very good audio quality on earphone, go get n8!
Bass: 9/10
Treble:7/10
Vocal:9/10
Stereo effect:10/10
Sound loudness: 9/10
My Opinion In Nokia E7:
The sound quality is excellent! i s same as n8 but the Bass seems a bit higher than Nokia N8, the treble is also slightly higher but vocal seems to be a bit lower than n8, but nevertheless Nokia E7 still hold a good stereo effect and a loud sound volume insert the earphone. I think this is a best music quality in earphone at E Series! hehehe
Bass: 10/10
Treble:8/10
Vocal: 8/10
Stereo Effect:10/10
Sound loudness: 9/10
My opinions in Nokia C7:
The sound quality is excellent! same like Nokia N8, but the bass is par with N8, Treble is outstanding and vocal is higher than E7, which is a good music player with high rank stereo effect and loud volume loudness. These are also good audio quality of Nokia phones, go get one!
Bass: 9/10
Treble:9.5/10
vocal: 10/10
Stereo effect:10/10
Sound loudness:9.5/10
My opinions of Sony Ericsson W610i:
Using HPM-70, the Bass is extremely good and high, par with nokia E7, the treble is awesome but there is a bit distortion but not so disturbing, vocal is excellent with a clear high sound, Stereo effect is good but not as good as other Nokia Phones, the sound Loudness is pretty high but can't beat Nokia E7 though. For a cheaper alternatives, go with this phone for Walkman Fans!
Bass: 10/10
Treble: 9.5/10
Vocal:9.5/10
Stereo Effect:8/10
Sound loudness:8/10
My opinions using Nokia X1-00:
I really thought the sound quality is gonna be bad since there is no stereo widening effect and no equaliser, but i was wrong, this is the best audio quality ever produce! The BAss is Pretty high, the treble is the best and vocal is Par with other nokia Phones, make it short the sound frequency pretty stable, since i can hear all the main bass treble and vocal with no trouble, same goes to Stereo Effect, it was a top notch! sound loudness is not so loud than Nokia E7 and N8 but a bit higher than W610i, for user who like a mobile with just a music, this phone is for you!
Bass:10/10
Treble:10/10
Vocal:10/10
Stereo Effect:10/10
Sound loudness:8.5/10
Result!
Ok after i calculate the result, here is the result and the winner of this battle is(drum roll please):
Nokia X1-00!
with sum off 140.5/150
Second place goes too:
Sony Ericsson mW610i!
with summ off 135.5/150
Third goes to two phones:
Nokia N8 and Nokia C7!
With sum off 130/150
And the last place goes to Nokia E7!
with sum of 128/150!
Conclusion:
This comment is using what i experience, the comment not following the rank, anyway, i was pretty impressed by nokia X1, beat the other high end phone, Sony Ericsson w610 is also very good, Nokia N* and C7 is also good but the loudness and abit down loudspeaker performance make the result go down, Nokia C& is good but not par with other phones. Anyway thanks for reading, thank you and have a good day, and assalamualaikum!

Hello welcome to round two! today, i'm gonna to make a sound quality battle using External Speaker, using these 5 phones Nokia N8,E7,C7,W610i and X1. anyway, i turn it in a full volume of external speaker, anyway, i set the volume to max and normal equaliser. lets start with Nokia N8.
The audio quality is a total top notch! one of the best! and the loudest handset between all 5 phones. this phone audio quality beat Sony Ericsson and Nokia E7, The bass is excellent excellent! treble is damn Impressive! and Vocal is loud and clear!. this is a cheapest phone between 5 phones. and the stereo and volume is the best i have ever experience!, if you want a music phone but tight budget, this phone is for you!

Bass: 9.5/10
Treble: 9.5/10
Vocal: 10/10
Stereo Widening:9/10
Sound volume: 9.5/10
Nokia E7 using external speaker:
Nokia E7 has one of the best audio quality i have ever used, is slightly better than Nokia N8! Bass is Perfect! Treble is excellent and vocal is totally real with no cracking voice!, but the sound volume is lower than N8 though and the stereo widening effect is par with N8, for you guys who are music freak and a businessman, E7 is for you!
Bass: 10/10
Treble:9/10
Vocal 10/10
Stereo widening: 9/10
Sound volume:8/10
Nokia C7 using external Speaker
The audio quality Of nokia C7 has a very good audio quality, the Bass is Par than N8, Treble is excellent adn vocal is very clear!, stereo is very very good and the distortion are second to none! i was impress by the sound loudness as well since the C7 is quite weak on loudspeaker loudness, the sound loudness is slightly higher than E7 but not par with N8. anyway is a very good music experience on Nokia C7.
Bass: 9.5/10
Treble:10/10
Vocal:10/10
Stereo Widening: 9/10
Sound loudness 8.5/10
Sony Erricsson W610i using external speaker.
The sound quality of this old walkman phone are excellent! because it par with nokia E7 audio quality but the sound loudness is lesser than Nokia E7, The Bass it great, Par with E7, treble is awesome and vocal is superb! i think this is a second best audio quality after E 7.

Ok you guys already knew this handsets, now lets us get to the review, in this review we have three rounds, first using loudspeaker, second external amplifier, third round using an headphone. anyway let us get to the round 1,
Round 1: using phone Loudspeaker.
orait, this round is using the phone loudspeaker, it shows how loud the speaker and how the distortion levels were, using a normal equliser and a maximum volume, let us start with Nokia N8 first. PS: in this video you may heard some not good audio quality since the video quality is not so good, my review is based what i hear when i play the music, sorry for incovinience
Nokia N8 through louspeaker:
Nokia N8 produce a great audio quality, the speaker is quite loud and even at the maximum volume, the distortion is quite low since there is no creaky voice, the mid is good but quite low on bass. the stereo effect are awesome but not as awesome as other stereo speaker phone, but this phone only has a single loudspeaker so never mind about that, and the most boring part, the sound gets muffed when this phone put at flat surface, so you have to turn ur phone upside down to listen a rich audio quality music, anyway, nokia N8 is loud enough to make you enjoy to listen to music on nokia n8
Bass: 6/10
Treble:8/10
Vocal:8/10
Stereo widening:8.5/10
Sound Loudness: 8/10
Nokia E7 Audio Quality
Nokia E7 has a very good audio quality too, the sound is decent but not as loud as Nokia N8, the distortion is good and acceptable, the bass seems to be hearable than N8, treble is a bit lower than N8 but the vocal seems to be par to n8, stereo is very good and par to n8, the volume is lower than n8 so this phone is not good for listen through loudspeaker but acceptable, is a business phone alright.
Bass: 7/10
Treble:7/10
Vocal:8/10
Stereo Widening: 8/10
Sound Loudness: 7/10
Nokia C7 Audio Quality:
Nokia C7 has a pretty good audio quality too, but the volume is much as same as Nokia E7, not too loud, the bass is lower than Nokia E7, treble is Par and Vocal is Par, the stereo is quite good despite there is only a single speaker on the back, anyway, the phone has a good audio quality but the volume loudness is not so great
Bass:6/10
Treble: 7/10
Vocal: 7/10
Stereo widening:8/10
Sound Loudness: 7/10
Sony Ericsson W610i Audio Quality:
I was Amazed by the sound quality of this handset, the bass is awesome! the treble is very good and vocal is excellent! but the stereo is a bit lower than n8 though, sound loudness i higher than n8 but there is a bit distortion, but acceptable, anyway this is one of the best Walkman phone i have ever used!
Bass: 9/10
Treble:9/10
Vocal:10/10
Stereo widening:7/10
Sound Loudness:9/10
Nokia X1-00 Sound quality
Nokia X1-00 has a ver good audio quality, is quite loud but not a s loud as W610i but a bit higher than n8, any way, the bass is very good and present, treble is a top notch and vocal is awesome! stereo is very good even though there is no on off stereo widening option, no equaliser option, anyway, this phone is very good for those who just want a simple ol phone. =)
Bass: 8/10
Treble: 9/10
Vocal: 9/10
Stereo Widening: 9/10
Sound loudness: 8/10
that the end of round 1, let us go to round 2, lets go!!!!(on next post)

Battle! Nokia x6 vs Nokia X2 Image quality
Hello guys is me again, post this wonderful blog a battle between Nokia X2 and X6. We already know the audio quality of Nokia X2 and X6. Now
lets start the image quality of this two music phones. high end(x6) vs. Low end(x2). Ok i know some of you guys said is an unfair battle. becuz you know, the X6 has 5 megapixel camera auto focus, Carl Zeiss optics. but Nokia X2 only have 5 megapixel fixed focus and led flash. But remember, Carl Zeiss lens also has bad image quality.( 5800 everyone?) any way lets check this two phone.
Heres Nokia X2:
5 megapixel fixed focus, single led flash
heres Nokia X6:
5 megapixel auto focus, dual led flash, Carl Zeiss Optics Tessar
So lets the battle begins! TINGGGG!!
Round 1
Outdoor picture
Nokia X6
Nokia x2
Nokia X6, has a pretty good image quality, the image has a sharp detail and the noise are not that spotted, the coloring is real and under control. The image has a nice and real color, and the image of a car(kancil silver) has a nice and real color, not additional color or what so ever, but the dark part have some spot presence but not too disturbing. 9/10
Nokia X2, has a good image quality for 400 ringgit(80-90 euro) phone. The image is sharp and the noise is completely under control. But the image has some color balance problems. for example, the image of a tree has too over colored makes the images like a color book. the building has too whitish color and the image of the silver car has an yellowish additional color, and there are blur part on the left side of the image. But the image looks good and acceptable. 7/10.
Round 2
Signboard picture
Nokia X6
Nokia X2
This is a though one, in X6 the image is quite moody and gloomy, but in reality, the image turns out to be good, why? Because you can see the shading part clearly, this JUSCO signboard is under a tree which makes the image turns dim and gloomy, the noise and spot are not present and the color is balance and under control. There is no blur part and the light exposure is under control. 8/10
In X2 the image became bright and makes the image looks better than x6 but in terms of real and sharpness, the image is not as good as X6. The image of signboard is too bright even on shaded tree. There is some blur part on the left side and the bottom of the image. The sky became almost dark blue but not too much. noise, spots and light exposure is under control.7/10
Round 3
Macro mode in daylight
Nokia x6
well i don't have to say much since Nokia X6 won since the phone has auto focus, the image is precise, sharp and the wording are clear and readable. the color is awesome too! As for X2 the image is blur since there is no auto focus, the the color balance is good. is well under control
Nokia X6: 10/10
Nokia X2: 7/10
Round 4
Macro in the dark
Nokia X6
Nokia X2
Same round, Nokia X6 won again, the image is sharp and very clear, the noise and spots are not present at all! The color is a bit whitish but not too much since it been interfered by led flash. The words are readable and the image is excellent! 9/10
Nokia X2 has blur image quality since it doesn't support auto focus, but the color is good, but the image turns overbright because of the flash, the noise and spots are not disturbing even though is present. 7/10
Last round
Flsah in the dark
Nokia X6
Nokia X2
Is this for real? look on the image of Nokia X6 and X2, in terms of brightness. Nokia X2 is brighter than Nokia X6! WOW!. dual led flash lose to single led flash!. but in terms of quality X6 has better image quality since the image of the objects on the table has better focus and clearer than Nokia X2. but interms of noise and spots, Nokia X2 did a very good job to reduced the noise and spots in the image. The flash helps alot in Nokia X2. the coloring is pretty good there is not change in color in both of these handsets.
Nokia X6: 7/10
Nokia X2: 7/10
And the winner is.... drumroll please...
Nokia X6 with 43/50 points!!
